UNPRECEDENTED HISTORIC STORM EQUALS A CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE
The crazy midwest weather in the Midwest in late October was the equivalent of a Category 3 Hurricane over land. It broke low barometric pressure readings over land for the midwest, as the high winds cut power, downed buildings, and closed runways at airports. Interestingly, the same forces that brought you the tea party victories in the November mid-terms have managed to shut down any serious media discussion what might be causing unprecedented extreme weather events evey year. However meteorlogists, most of whom aren't on the payroll or Koch Industries or the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, are beinning to address the issue as a matter of science, as opposed to a matter of politics, religion or economics.
Paul Douglas, a Minnesota meteorlogist called a weather bomb that is "hard to fathom", while even wing nutter Anthony Watts, a scientist without a bachelor's degree, called the storm "a subtropical/tropically oriented monster". Tony's first name is Willard.
MN METEOROLOGIST CHARACTERIZES STORM AS "THE WRITING ON THE WALL"
In an interview, Douglas also said: "We have to get acclimated mentally and physically for this kind of world where these kinds of supercharged storms are more frequent." Unfortunately, Douglas' own state has plenty of non-believers, including incumbent Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN). Douglas said he was “ashamed” of the Grand Old Party for ignoring the "writing on the wall".
Writing on the wall is a Biblical reference. But Jahweh no longer makes house calls, and he isn't coming back to save the chosen people this time.

HISTORIC LOW PRESSURE READINGS
At mid- afternoon, a central pressure area (the eye if you will) 953 millibars was observed near Orr, MN. Meteorolists are calling it W a new record for the lowest atmospheric pressure ever observed over the continental USA. That’s a lower air pressure than most hurricanes.
Driving the storm was an extreme difference in temperatures between the record temperatures in the South and the normal cold in the north. Keeping cranking up the temperatureon those Southern non-beleivers Mojo. Make them believe.
